October half term has come round quickly and we’re looking forward to lots of spooky fun at our 10 camps!
As well as entertaining children and getting them active at our clubs during the short school holiday, we’re also offering some fun activities they can do at home. We’re pleased to announce our Virtual Camp is back this half term, by popular demand.
There will be plenty of activities for your kids to do including sports, dance, and arts and crafts. Of course, they will all be Halloween related too!
We’re committed to giving children an amazing time in the school holidays at our camps. If your child isn’t able to join us this time, we’d still like to help with our free activities for you to try at home. Everybody is welcome, so feel free to share this with your friends!
Activity videos
You can check in to Facebook or YouTube at 9am each morning to take part in our live activity videos.
Silly Tom will be kicking things off with our fun Halloween dance on Monday. Children can make spooktacular Halloween decorations with us on Tuesday. On Wednesday they’ll love our slimy science experiment. Thursday we’ll showing them how to decorate cupcakes and ginger bread men with a Halloween twist. End the week with us, stretching their brains with our fun Halloween quiz. There’s something for everyone and we hope you can join in!
Halloween activities to do at home
We've put together a great selection of October half term activities for kids to do at home.
This is the season for getting into the spirit of Halloween, so we've got some wicked ideas that are spookily easy to recreate, with minimal equipment and bags of fun.
From creative projects to fun games, we've got a great selection of indoor and outdoor activities they'll love.
Theme Day Friday!
On the last day of camp, children get to let their imaginations run wild and dress up. This half term kids will love getting involved in our Fang-tastic Theme Day. We can’t wait to see their creations on site, but would also love to see your costumes at home.
With Halloween on Sunday, kids might be out trick-or-treating, or you may even be having your own Halloween Party! Share with us your best Halloween costumes from over the weekend by either commenting on our Theme Day post on Facebook or tagging us on social media!
Resources
If you feel like you’re struggling to think of ideas on what to do with the kids this half term (well in between the Barracudas sessions!) we've put together some helpful resources which we hope will help keep them busy.
