New for 2021!

Your child will be excited with all the new things on offer at camp this year and can look forward to an Easter of fun and a summer to remember - for all the right reasons!

We’re determined 2021 will be the best yet at Barracudas. 2020 was a difficult year but we’re throwing mud in its eye with tonnes of things to look forward to at camp.

Here’s the lowdown on what’s new:

New activities

We’re all about an exceptional camp experience. Our unrivalled activities are a major reason why kids can’t wait to come back to Barracudas and return time after time. We’re continuously reviewing what’s on offer at our Easter camps, summer camps and half term camps and have some great new sessions for 2021!

Barracudas is known for being a leader in offering the widest range of activities with the biggest choice available to kids in the school holidays. This year is no exception and we’re excited to be launching a great range of unique sessions from Stop Motion and Circus Spectacular to Chill Out Yoga and more besides.

New football camps

Football fanatics have a new offering at our camps in 2021. With new football camps available at selected locations this Easter and summer, there’s plenty of opportunities for boys and girls to hone their skills, develop their techniques and make new friends.

We’ve partnered up with Crystal Palace with our new Palace for Life Football Camp. This is a great new opportunity for football mad girls and boys to hone their skills in sessions led by professional coaches at a number of our camps.

These new clubs run throughout the week (4 days for Easter and 5 days for summer). The course starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4.30pm each day with children benefiting from the Barracudas registration and collection time as well as our processes and customer service. If extra flexibility is needed you can also add our extended hours from 8am to 6pm. That’s a full day of fun right there!

Do you have another child who wants to come to camp whilst their brother or sister is taking part in the football course? We’re offering a great discount of £25 if they come for the week. Bags of fun for everyone all in one place!

New locations

We’re delighted to have secured three new great venues for 2021.

We’ve added another camp in Cambridge to meet the high demand in the area. Excitingly, this camp is also operating during the school half terms and Easter as well as summer. Long Road Sixth Form College is a fabulous site and a great addition for local parents.

Also new for 2021, The Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe is the perfect site to run our fun Easter camps and summer camps. With a heritage going back 450 years, kids will get the chance to be a part of history, whilst making great new life-long memories.

Barracudas are operating at Hockerill Anglo European College in Bishop’s Stortford for the first time this year. We’re looking forward to tonnes of Easter and summer camp fun at this new site which has recently undergone renovations including a lovely new sportshall! Kids will love all the facilities here and parents will love it’s convenient location.

Virtual camps

It’s been a bit of a challenge for families over the past year and we applaud parents for helping your kids get through. The home school experience has been a toughy for kids and grown ups too, and juggling that in many cases with working from home it’s tested us all.

We launched our free Virtual Camps to help out in the school holidays last year and they’re back by popular demand again this February. With live sessions on Facebook and Youtube led by our professional camp staff, great at home activity ideas and downloadable guides, there’s plenty of Barracudas fun to be had this half term.

New parent app

Your experience with Barracudas is as important to us as your child’s. We work hard to make sure we’re giving you a smooth journey from your initial research, to booking right through to your child’s last day at camp.

We’re launching a new parent app to make life easier for you this year. Here you’ll be able to check availability at your local camp, check your booking status, get directions to camp as well as access to important information ahead of their first day. Easy peasy!

New Flex booking options

We understand things can change. We introduced our new Flex and Non-Flex booking options this year to offer a choice of flexibility so you can choose the level that's right for you. Things set in stone? Take the non-flex option. Need more leeway? You can secure a flexible booking for just £4 a day.
