We've had 3 amazing weeks of camps already. Time really does fly when you're having fun. At the half way point, we're pleased to share some of the incredible moments we had last week.
The weekly theme was Fantastic Fiction and we let our imaginations run wild. With fun twists on our activity sessions throughout the week, and, of course, ending the week with kids and staff dressing up at camp.
Not only that, but the additional base room activity sheets from Whippersnapper got everyone in the mood. Kids could take on the challenges from The Great Dream Robbery and Percy Jackson to The Good turn activities and much more, kids are loving these!
We heard that Twickenham Waldegrave put on a special Harry Potter themed Quidditch match on Friday too. Can't wait to see the pictures!
Not only that, but we also have a set of Wonderbooks that children can read through themselves, or with their Group Leader during base room sessions.
Here’s some great images to sum it all up;
3 of our camps were visited by our videographer. We know how important it is for parents to see what camp is like before you book your kids in. Whilst you can’t join your kids on camp, we hope we can give you an insight with our videos and pictures.
We captured great moments at Farnham on Wednesday, Cobham on Thursday and Twickenham Waldegrave on Friday.
Our videographer was really impressed with how our camp are run. He said “Over the last 3 days I’ve been in awe over how much your staff go above and beyond for all the amazing kids at Farnham, Cobham and Twickenham.”
We know the kids and staff loved the added excitement too!
We reached a great milestone of over 1k independent Trustpilot customer ratings. Here are just a few of our latest 5 star ratings:
“My 6yo had a great time at Barracudas Hockerill. Lots of diverse activities, opportunities to try something new and the staff is really energetic/attentive and kind to kids!” Gwen
“Thank you very much for such an interesting period in the Barracudas camp in Bishop's Stafford. These 2 weeks at the camp were fun and interesting for the child. The teachers were very attentive and tried to find an approach to each child. Thanks for this great time. Best regards from Ukraine family's” Alina
“Barracudas in Chelmsford are simply amazing. I took a nervous young lad this week who don’t like meeting new people and he came out a different lad, he said he had so much fun. In one day he went swimming, took part in fencing, archery and had a singing competition. This one session has really boosted his confidence. Every staff member I spoke to was so helpful and reassuring. I would highly recommend. Thank you Chelmsford and hope to see you soon.” Consumer
“Both my kids (4/7) have loved their sessions at Barracudas. Amazing range of activities that change each time they go, some of which they’d never have been able to try through school. Very well organised and staff are very supportive and friendly. Would recommend.” Cassie
